Look up a charge

Seen our name on a card statement? Find out what the charge was, who made it and whether it was refunded.

A business you bought from uses us to process its card payments. Type the reference from your receipt and the last 4 digits of the card.

We never ask for the full card number.

The reference is the order, invoice or transaction number on your receipt or confirmation email.

Why a charge can look unfamiliar

The name is not the shop name you remember

The name on a card statement is often shorter than the business or website name, or is the name of the company that processes the payment. The lookup tells you which business it was.

It is a subscription renewal

Subscriptions renew on their own each period, so a charge can appear without a new purchase. The result says when a payment is part of a subscription.

Someone you share the card with

A family member or colleague who uses the same card, or a card saved in a shared account, may have made the purchase.

It is a hold, not a charge

Some businesses place a temporary hold before they charge. A hold that is never completed is released by your bank, usually within a few days.

A refund is on its way

A refund can take several business days to show on your statement, depending on your bank. The result lists any refund that has been made.
